General Zia ul Haq's reforms and Islamization of Pakistan   Abstract :                            On 10 February 1979, General Zia ul Haq promulgated new ordinances which were Enforcement of Hudood laws in Pakistan which includes Zina, Prohibition, Qazaf, and crimes against Property. These laws were enforced in the Country until The Protection of Women (Criminal Law Amendment) Act 2006, amend and repeal practically.   These laws came out as the most controversial laws in the history of Pakistan as they were intended to prevail Shariah laws throughout the country; These were part of General Zia ul Haq’s Islamization.
